Via Let's Get Fat Together

I do a lot of online window shopping and I spend a lot of time dreaming about how much cooler I'd look if I had money. So I decided I'm gonna upload my dreams and match perfect outfits to perfect outings.

Double Time

I've had a crazy craving for a black leather double wrap belt à la Victoria Beckham Fall 2012. But every time I think I've found a good one that isn't a billion dollars (double the wrap, double the price duh) it is sold out! No belt, no David Beckham, no fair!

In The Cellar...

Caught up with some friends at St Jude's Cellars on Brunswick St. It's got a industrial dining hall feel (I realise that makes it sound like Alcatraz) and it's a really cool space. What a nice place to sip on a glass of Spanish tempranillo. We sat at the back table which is surrounded by wine racks. I was in my own little world back there, munching on parsnip chips, northern African flatbread and the charcuterie platter. I think I could get used to dining in a cellar...

Someone should make a dog chew in the shape of a pipe so when they are carrying it around they look like dapper gents.”

Warragul Bowling Club

I had ANZAC day off work so decided to visit my friend Liz in Warragul. We walked into the town and got desperate supplies to make chocolate cake and sandwiches. In Coles they had a clothing section! It was actually better than I expected... quietly I got a t-shirt for $8.These are some pictures from the walk back minus the rain.

Green Day

So lucky to still be getting some sun! I was so excited about going to the Botanical Gardens yesterday that I just had to go today and drag Tas with me! First we got some food at 8 Days Cafe on High Street which was wondrous. We were actually going to walk around the Tan but in classic style we went past Thomas Dux on walking back to our car got croissants and then laid in the grass and did nothing! Perfect Day.

Good To See You Too Babe!

After spending a lazy morning watching an interview between Tony Martin and Alan Davies I hauled myself up off the couch to get some vitamin D. If I know I have the day to myself I love going out for a walk. Seeing as I was back in Melbourne from Gippsland for the weekend I decided to go to the Botanical Gardens. I used to always walk around there when I lived on St Kilda Rd and it was nice to revisit my usually stomping ground. It was such a nice day after I finished my walk I went into a quiet bit and laid out like a starfish.

Later that night I went to Dave Gorman's Powerpoint Presentation, a show which is a part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival. Comedy shows are always the worst things to be late to - comedians must spend so much time, sitting at home, trying to figure out how to embarrass people. And as predicted we were late! Another failure of the Melbourne transport system - it took 50 minutes to get from south yarra to the city... ridiculous!

Anyway the show was really funny and in our celebratory mood we went out got some thai food (tiny tiny place called Lotus Thai Cafe but amazing), bubble tea and Max Brenner. Tas and I spent ages on the astroturf in the middle of the QV building contemplating life and how well some asian guys dress.

1+2+3+4/ Botanical Gardens
5+6+7/ Fondue for two!
8+9+10/ Stargazing on the astroturf
11/ Graffiti in Hosier Lane
