A few friends and I were intrigued by the Smartbar concept - a night out at Melbourne museum with interesting talks, exhibits and drinks. It's always good the change things up a bit and do something more than just go out for dinner and or drinks. It was good fun too - particularly the lie detector test where it got slightly too personal.

I LIke Your Sunglass

I can't find my reflective sunglasses! I've moved house five times this year (aren't I lucky?) so I'm not surprised. I don't think I even realised until I saw this picture and I was craving them all over again. Alas, turning over my entire house yielded nil. I got them last year from this amazing website OC Shades, which has an array of good, cheap sunglasses and $3 shipping. However if I had more money it would be all about the Spektre's....

One Sunday...
1/ I could do a series called "Myer Mannqeuins: In Real Life"
2/ Shereen's amazing Zara clutch. Was going to get the same one but its $79.99... too much for me at the moment sadly.
3/ Unexpectedly ended up at the arcade at crown. This was our favourite game  - moose shooting. I don't condone game hunting in any way but for some reason this game was hilarious. I think it was the incredible graphic. We must of looked like psychotic killers, laughing incessantly as we went on a mass turkey shooting rampage in the bonus round

Just A Hint Of Print

I can safely say it's been years since I've shopped inside a surf shop. Over the years, I've felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of ugly trimmings and branded T-shirts.

When someone comes to visit me I think I'm a lot more open minded. I'm up for any suggestions that can be fall under the guise of 'trying something new' (or a rewind back to the early 2000's as in this case). So when we were wondering around Chaddy trying to find things I could actually afford we somehow stumbled into Jetty Surf. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least - hey, yeh... there is some damn ugly stuff in there - but it wasn't too bad...

Lui Bar, Rialto Tower

I have my friend Shereen visiting me at the moment! When people come visit me in Melbourne I love taking them to places that you can't experience elsewhere. Lui Bar, attached to Vue De Monde, was the perfect place to watch the sunset over Melbourne on a Sunday evening. On Sundays they play some smooth, smooth live music - great thinking music to reflect on a long day of doing nothing . We admired the view of Port Melbourne and St Kilda beach while we sipped on the Lola Montez Spider Dance Fizz and the smoked rhubarb Sous Vide Shrub which weirdly, was exactly like you would expect smoked rhubarb to taste. I think this place is just about to see my business there increase 500%...
